For a Muslim family in Canada, the journey to the Haramain is often the most significant trip of a lifetime. Usually the largest single travel expense a household will ever make. It deserves to be handled by people who understand both sides of it. The sacredness of the holy journey and the practical realities of travelling there from Canada.
Qiblatain Canada was founded in 2010, after performing Umrah and seeing how many Canadian families arrived unprepared, overcharged, or staying somewhere entirely different from what they had been promised. Too much was being left to chance on a journey that most families save years for.
Sixteen years later we are still doing the same thing, just for more people, taking Canadian Muslims to the Haramain properly, with everything arranged before departure and someone accountable at every stage. We have served pilgrims from 500+ families across Canada since we opened. A large share of our bookings still come from people whose parents or neighbours travelled with us first.
We are not a booking website. We are a licensed Canadian travel company, accountable under Canadian regulation, staffed by people who have made these journeys themselves and who answer the phone when you call.

Every price is written down, in Canadian dollars
You receive a full written quote in CAD before you pay anything. Every hotel is named. Every inclusion is listed. Every exclusion is listed too. Because the exclusions are where families usually get caught. If it isn't in your quote, you won't be asked to pay for it later.
We name our hotels
We tell you exactly which hotel you will stay in, in both Makkah and Madinah. How many minutes' walk it is to the Haram. We do not write "5-star hotel near Haram" and leave you to find out on arrival. Agencies that hide hotel names until after payment do so deliberately.

Umrah packages
Umrah can be performed at any time of year and takes most Canadian pilgrims 5 to 7 days. Our Umrah packages cover return flights from your Canadian city, Saudi visa processing, hotels in both holy cities, all transport, Ziyarat, and a group leader who guides you through every rite. Our Packages start from CAD$1,115 per person.
Hajj packages
Hajj is obligatory once in a lifetime for every Muslim who is able. Canadian allocations are limited and close early, so most families begin planning eight to twelve months ahead. Our Hajj packages include Saudi registration, flights, accommodation in Makkah and Madinah, tented accommodation at Mina and Arafat, all meals and transport, and scholarly guidance throughout.
Ramadan Umrah
Performing Umrah in Ramadan carries immense reward, and the last ten nights in Makkah are an experience Canadian families remember for the rest of their lives. These dates sell out first and cost the most, so we open Ramadan bookings early and cap our group sizes to keep them manageable.
December and school holiday Umrah
December is the most practical window for Canadian families with school-age children. Two weeks off, no exams missed, and a welcome escape from a Canadian winter. We offers December Umrah Packages with dedicated family departures over the winter break with connecting rooms, child pricing and a slower daily pace.
Halal holidays
Not every journey is a pilgrimage. We arrange halal-friendly holidays for Canadian Muslim families with confirmed halal dining, prayer facilities, and alcohol-free accommodation. Destinations include Morocco, Jordan, Egypt, the UAE, and Turkey.

Umrah and Hajj visa processing
We prepare and submit your Saudi visa application so you don't have to navigate the system yourself. Canadian passport holders and permanent residents travelling on other passports follow different routes, and requirements change regularly, so we confirm the correct process for your specific situation at the time of booking and tell you exactly which documents to send.
Typically Umrah visa processing time is 24 to 72 hours for Canadian Muslims, we need various documents like Passport, recent biometric photos, confirmed return flight, hotel booking proof, and vaccination certificate from pilgrims to apply for visa.
Makkah hotels
Your Makkah hotel decides how much of your trip is spent worshipping and how much is spent walking. Our Makkah hotels sit between 150 and 1000 metres from the Haram. A 5 to 15 minutes walk for an average adult, and less if you use the King Fahd entrance. Every hotel is named in your quote before you pay a deposit.
Madinah hotels
In Madinah our hotels are within 200 metres of Masjid an-Nabawi, close enough to return between prayers and to visit the Rawdah without a long walk in the heat. Madinah is the restful half of the journey for most pilgrims, and we build in the time to enjoy it rather than rushing you back to Makkah.
Transport throughout
Every transfer is arranged and paid for before you leave Canada. That covers airport pickup in Jeddah or Madinah, transfer to your hotel, the intercity journey between Makkah and Madinah, transport to Ziyarat sites, and the return to the airport. You will never stand outside a terminal at 3 a.m. negotiating with a driver.

Do you help first-time pilgrims?
Yes, most of our pilgrims are travelling for the first time. Every group travels with a leader who has performed the rites many times and guides you through Ihram, Tawaf, Sa'i and everything between. You also attend a pre-departure briefing in Canada, so you arrive knowing what happens rather than learning on the day.
Can you arrange Umrah for elderly parents?
Yes. Umrah can be performed in a wheelchair, and wheelchairs and electric carts are available inside the Haram. We plan around it: hotels with the shortest walk, airport assistance booked on both the Canadian and Saudi legs, wheelchair-accessible transport, and a slower group pace where needed.
What is not included in your packages?
Travel insurance, meningococcal vaccination, personal expenses, excess baggage, and Qurbani where applicable.
How far in advance should we book?
For Umrah, three to six months ahead gives the best fares and hotel choice. For Ramadan, book six to nine months ahead. The last ten nights sell out first. For December family departures, book by 4 month. For Hajj, begin eight to twelve months ahead, as Canadian allocations are limited.
Do you offer payment plans?
Qiblatain Canada understands the budget issues of Canadian Muslims. So, we are offering Instalment plan with a deposit of CAD$100 only and the rest amount will be split in instalments.
